For the third year in a row, I had the pleasure of attending DrupalCamp Atlanta. I look forward to this event every year because it is well planned, organized and a true value. The other reason, I look forward to attending is hanging out with my wife, @mrsshrop before and after the event on Saturday.

It has been a little over a week since I came back home from DrupalCon Chicago. I have to say that I am still processing the many discussions and sessions I attended. I do feel that I can write a bit about my experiences at this point. Considering this is my first DrupalCon and that the trip was expensive, I feel both excited and blessed that my employer was able to send me this year.

I have some Drupal 6 themes which utilize images that need to be uploaded by the users to the sites files folder while maintaining one copy of the theme for a multisite install. It turns out to be simpler that I original expected.

I followed the instructions at http://drupal.org/node/177868 and it worked out quite well. I was able to modify some of the code further down on the same page in a comment to setup file uploads. See that code example here: http://drupal.org/node/177868#comment-1445178.

I have been on a bit of a wallpaper kick this past week. I really wanted a dark themed Drupal wallpaper and couldn't find one. I created my own using the striped black background and the Drupal logo EPS file from drupal.org.

So I was a bit bored with my iPhone ringtones. I Decided to create a ringtone from Jeff Robbins' "The Drupal Song." You can download the ringtone I created below. Once downloaded, double click the file and it will be added to your iTunes library under the ringtones category.

I completed all of the meta data I could, including a reference to the original song blog post http://www.lullabot.com/audiocast/the_drupal_song.

I have been a huge fan of the Lullabot podcast series at http://www.lullabot.com/audiocast/. I think that Epoisode 62 is one of the best podcasts the Lullabot crew has produced.

Even though Views1 for Drupal 5 may not be as hip today, I have been wanting to share this bit of code to allow the creation of blog type category listing from taxonomy. I haven't tested if this works with views2 and kind of doubt it will since Views2 seems to be a complete rewrite.

Now that I am blogging, I wanted to use Ecto to blog from the convenience of a Mac desktop application. Ecto is a great blog editing tool for the Mac. Check it out!
